The Instrument is used to prepare the sample for the Gluten Analysers, Falling Number analysis and NIR Analysis.

Its motor works at 16,800 cycles per minute and can use different size sieves. Wheat, Barley, Corn and other grains can be ground at a rate of 300g in 30 - 50 seconds which are then collected in its sample container.

The operator is not required to clean the instrument between samples which reduces total preparation time.

With its slow feed rate it can grind up to 25% moisture of the grain.

A safety sensor is located on the motor cover, so if the cover is opened the motor will switch off.

The outside dimensions of the device are 640x620x450 and its net weight is 51kg
