The instrument is used for analysing the homogenity and particle size of the flour, it is also used to aid adjustment of the distances of the rollers in the roll stands in teh flour mill. Furthermore it is also used in controlling the sieving system by monitoring the daily production.

There are power, start and emergency stop buttons, as well as warning lights on the control panel. After 5 minutes of testing the instrument automatically stops and gives both visual and audible warnings.

The instrument is availabe with either 7 wooden hoops, or 5 aluminium hoops, along with one collection container.
